Megan VanValkenburg

Megan worked for us here at the shelter for several years but after adopting two babies and maintaining a full-time job, working on weekends turned out to be a little much for her so she decided to continue on with DVHS by becoming a foster mom for our pregnant or nursing mother dogs and their pups . Last year, Megan successfully fostered 72 puppies that were born in her care and she provides a nurturing , stable Environment for them to thrive while getting them ready for adoption. She has personally adopted three of our mother dogs and we simply could not help nearly as many mother dogs and their puppies without her partnership .
